how very clever

top  vintage
blouse (worn as cardigan)  thrifted
skirt vintage from clever nettle
purse  vintage from clever nettle
shoes  vintage from etsy

Remember the dream outfit I made for that Clever Nettle contest earlier in the month? Well, I couldn't help but spend the gift certificate I won on the very things I used in that outfit. So let me introduce you to my new favorite skirt and purse, both courtesy of Anja's impeccable eye for loveliness (and Erin of CaliVintage for choosing my creation!). That last photo pretty much sums up how excited I was to receive that package in the mail. Now if I only I could get my hands on that Rachel Comey blouse...

I really love the way you wear russets and browns. I really want to include those colours in my wardrobe! Perfect for autumn. Too bad it's spring over here!

I was also gonna say, ADORABLE! Blouse as cardigan is totally genius and the color of those tights are perfect. Serious autumn celebration.

Hi, found your blog through cali vintage and love it. I love your style! Could you tell me from which etsy store you got those lovely mary janes you're wearing? What about those tic tac toe shoes you wrote about ... did you buy any, and if so what are they like?

Wow this outfit looks even more darling in real life than on Polyvore! When I toured University of Washington in Seattle this summer, I swear I saw a girl with the exact same blouse because it really stuck with me!

Great outfit! I would have never thought to pair these things together, but they really work. And that last photo cracked me up. That's usually what about half of the photos I take look like haha!

Oh and by the way, did you get that e-mail I sent you the other day with the interview questions?
